Eve has been drawing people for years, first for fun, then for a living. She trained formally in portraiture, which is part of why her likenesses hold up even when the joke is broad. She started out doing quick sketches at local events and kept going, eventually adding oil painting, pastel work, and murals to what she offers.
She likes fast work and slow work about equally, which is why she still does both. A caricature might take four minutes. A portrait might take four weeks. Eve treats each one with the same attention: get the likeness right first, then have fun with it.
Over the years she’s drawn at weddings, corporate parties, festivals, and private events up and down the country, and painted commissions for clients who wanted something more permanent than a party favor.
Live Event Caricatures
Fast, funny portraits drawn right in front of your guests. Wonderful entertainment. Each one only takes a few minutes. Works well at weddings, office parties, birthdays, and anywhere people are standing around with nothing in their hands yet.
Custom Portraits / Fine Art
Slower work, painted rather than sketched. Eve’s favorite medium, and where a lot of her formal training shows. Good for a piece meant to hang for decades, not just years.
Scenery Painting
Cars, garages, and anything else that could use some color. Acrylic murals, indoors or out. Eve’s painted everything from a single garage door to a full wall. If it holds paint, she’ll talk it through with you.
